Zoom Sessions Policy

For 1:1 and Group Training with Chris Bensted

This policy covers all training delivered via Zoom – whether 1:1 coaching, theory sessions, instructor CPD, or group workshops. By booking or attending any Zoom session, you’re agreeing to the terms below.


1. Booking & Payment

  • Payment is due 48 hours in advance by bank transfer (unless otherwise agreed).
  • Your session is not guaranteed until payment has cleared.
  • For multi-session packages or intensive bookings, custom payment and refund arrangements may apply (and will be confirmed before you pay).

2. Cancellation & Refunds

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: Full refund (an admin fee may be deducted if applicable).
  • Within 48 hours: Non-refundable. I may offer a credit or reschedule at my discretion, but this is not guaranteed.
  • No-shows (without notice): No refund or reschedule.
  • For block bookings or intensive programmes, partial or zero refunds may apply after a specific cut-off date (this will always be agreed upfront).

3. 1:1 Zoom Sessions

These sessions are tailored specifically to you – whether it’s theory, instructor development, or business coaching.

You agree to:

  • Attend in a quiet, focused environment with a working device and camera (unless agreed otherwise).
  • Respect time boundaries – sessions start and end as booked.
  • Not record or share any session without written permission.

I agree to:

  • Keep all discussions confidential.
  • Deliver focused, value-based support for your goals.

4. Group Zoom Sessions

Group sessions are shared spaces – your respect for others matters.

You agree to:

  • Stay muted when not speaking and use the chat or hand-raise functions appropriately.
  • Not share Zoom links or passwords without permission.
  • Treat all participants with respect and courtesy.

Recordings:
Some group sessions may be recorded. By attending, you consent to being included unless you switch off video/audio or notify me beforehand.


5. SEND Clients

I make reasonable adjustments for neurodivergent or SEND clients where possible. To help me do this, you must:

  • Let me know about any support needs in advance.
  • Understand that adjustments are not always possible at short notice.

Free pre-session consultations are available to make sure your needs are understood and supported.


6. Disclaimer

All advice and content provided during sessions is based on my knowledge and experience, but it is not legal, medical, or financial advice. Responsibility for how you use the information remains with you.


7. Behaviour & Respect

I don’t tolerate:

  • Disruptive behaviour, offensive language, or disrespectful conduct.
  • Recording or screen captures without permission.
  • Misuse of session content.

I reserve the right to remove participants who break these rules, with no refund.
